This wedding is a great example of how we can provide wedding flowers inspiration with a blank canvas. I first met Lizzie, Tom and Tom’s mother Carol between Christmas and New Year at Pinions Barn in Buckinghamshire. The barn had been used for storage previously and we admired the vision the family had to convert this venue into a sensational personal place to host a wedding. The views across Hanslope and beyond were amazing and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to celebrate for this couple.
We love the fact that Lizzie and Tom completely trusted us to come up with a plan, involving lots of foliage, beautiful Spring flowers and an army of lanterns and candles. We managed to source 50 lanterns to dot around the large pond and outdoor space. Together with floating candles – these really added to the evening atmosphere.
We wrapped foliage around the metal beams of the barn which together with fairy lights produced a lovely setting for this special event. We provided buckets of flowers for the family and friends to use in jam jar arrangements for the long trestle table. We added in a large willow wreath decorated with seasonal blooms to go on the wall at the back of the barn.
We were thrilled with this email from Lizzie.
“When we first met Roz to discuss flowers for our wedding she seemed to straight away understand the style and feel we were going for. She was interested to hear the kinds of things we liked and was then able to make lots of great recommendations. Roz and her team were professional throughout, and on the day delivered a beautiful display of flowers and other decorations. Not only were we thrilled with the end result, but also appreciated Roz and her team’s helpful and relaxed way of working along the way. We would definitely recommend!”
