All I can say about this wedding is that it left us speechless – the family were so kind and generous and were grateful for everything we did. Our thank -you letters made it all worthwhile. We loved creating their special memories with flowers. We first met Fiona’s Mum Cynthia in the middle of 2017 as she was tasked with finding a florist that she felt matched Fiona’s dreams and aspirations. I can only say it was a delight to meet Cynthia who had a true love of flowers and knew exactly the style her daughter would want. Fiona and her now husband Jonny lived and worked in London and therefore really trusted Fiona’s mum with sourcing local suppliers. We subsequently met with Fiona and planned the wedding flowers that she had in mind. She wanted impact at Woburn Sculpture Gallery and we set about creating this. Fiona was great at providing images of what she wanted and we knew we were in tune.
“We decided on providing tree like decorations for the tables – Woburn Sculpture Gallery has particular high ceilings and looks impressive with tall arrangements. We made these from wood, moss and willow and then put the finishing touches with a mass of flowers and foliage. It was lovely to create something so unique, personalised and different.” Roz, Fieldgate Flowers, Wedding florist Bedfordshire.
Fiona was concerned about the Howard Hall as the entrance and so we set about creating an Autumnal theme with candles and seasonal fruits – small squashes and pomegranates.
We wish Fiona and Jonny all the best for the future and honestly it was a pleasure.
