Jenny’s dream was to have an array of seasonal British wedding flowers that created the natural, just picked look. She didn’t have a colour theme – just seasonal, bright and beautiful. This couple were an absolute delight to work with – such fun and over flowing with happiness. Having met 5 years previously in a teashop in Nottingham, Jenny and Julian moved to Northamptonshire just over a year later – here at Field Gate Flowers we hope in future years that they both remember a cup of tea bought them together and the answer to most things can always be sought over a good cup of tea.
“As a couple we’re really relaxed and laid back, so when we got engaged in January 2016, we knew we wanted a venue that was pretty without being formal and stuffy and gave a sense of occasion and history without being a church. And Bassmead Manor Barns leapt out.
We chose Field Gate Flowers to be our florist as we loved that they could offer us English blooms that were selected because they were in season and would be picked to look their best – not because we wanted a specific colour and flower. And we loved them so much we wanted to keep them as long as possible as a memory so we chose the Flower Preservation Workshop to make a paperweight of my bouquet and Julians button hole.”
We wish this couple all the best in the world and we hear that there will be an addition to the family fairly soon.
