Quainton Railway Wedding Venue has been a new floristry location for us this year.
Quainton is in our home county of Buckinghamshire and provides a very unique setting for weddings. The former Oxford Rewley Road station was dismantled, moved and re-erected to its current location here in 2001. The building originally dates back to 1851 and features a glass roof with beautiful lighting. Such a nostalgic setting, we were delighted when Katie and Stuart asked us to provide their wedding flowers. They wanted their June wedding day to be relaxed with natural, summery blooms. We mixed wildflower style with some traditional English garden florals throughout the bouquets, flower crowns and venue décor. Pinks, ivory and mauve is such a classic combination.
Thank-you Katie and Stuart for sharing some pictures from your special day and for your kind words about our flowers. ‘Roz, Flowers were just what I had hoped for and more. I just cannot thank you enough. Everything I asked for, you delivered it. You listened to everything I said and didn’t miss a single detail I had asked for’.
Our weddings are over for another year and it is cold outside but we will bask in the warmth of words like that until our next season begins! xx
