Funeral Flowers
Field Gate Flowers is well-respected funeral florist across the three counties, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
During the UK growing season from to March to November I use only my own and other locally grown flowers and foliage. From December to February inclusive my funeral arrangements may include both dried and fresh flowers, including flowers sourced from commercial growers based in other parts of the UK.
We love the environment and want to be sure our work doesn’t leave a poor footprint. We are working towards making all our work fully plastic free and compostable. Currently 90 percent of our work is just do this and we are aiming to extend this further . You won’t find floral foam in any of our work – this is a single use plastic that doesn’t degrade in the environment.
I just wanted to drop you a quick message to say an absolutely ENORMOUS thank you for doing Mum’s flowers on Monday. I was completely lost for words when I saw the finished article, it was beyond perfect. What you created was everything I had imagined and more, it was truly stunning and my Mum would have totally adored it all. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were, and how they were completely ‘Jane’. They are currently sat on my garden table outside the kitchen window and I can’t stop looking at them.
The whole process with you was effortless from start to finish, and I cannot speak highly enough of you and your wonderful business. From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you.
Thank you Roz and Field Gate Flowers. There are many occasions in the course of life where flowers are important, and not all of them are happy, unfortunately. I'm in America and simply based on emailing and paypal, I was deeply touched working with Roz, who was sensitive, kind, and creative and went out of her way to place a lovely remembrance wreath for me for an emotional anniversary recently when I couldn't be there myself. She also took photos and sent them, which I was able to share with friends and family.
I love that the arrangements are local, seasonal and incorporate the natural beauty of the area. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them for any kind of event requiring flowers, as they listen to little details, are very communicative, sensitive but professional, honest, reliable, and talented.
